Okay, I admit that I overslept again, this time by 18 minutes. However, there are two reasons why I proceeded with the planned training instead of burpees. First, my boy cried for quite a long time during the night, so my sleep was interrupted. Second, it’s sprint training today, and I simply cannot miss it. And honestly, I don’t consider it much easier.
I spent a bit more time warming up, around 15 minutes, I would say. And it worked—I managed to do 6x100m sprints without injuries. Again, I felt an interesting pain in my quads. Although it’s a mixture between strained and tired muscles, I believe it’s not strained at all. I’ll consider it the pain of progress since sprints most likely affect my muscles in a new way. Overall, I spent around 35 minutes.
After lunch, I’ll have a padel match today—again after sprint training. However, it’ll be a friendly match, so I hope to remain injury-free.
