“It’s Wednesday, and at this point, it doesn’t really matter how my body feels anymore. It’s the middle of the week, and it’s normal to feel sore. I proceeded with my normal routine: a 2 km run in total and a workout focusing particularly on my core I suppose:
- Heavy ball throws: 2×15
- Shoulder taps: 2×34
- Leg raises: x14, x16
- Battle ropes (slams): 2×40 seconds
- Very slow push-ups: x20, x15
- Plank: 200 seconds
Today’s workout took me a bit longer, around 37 minutes. Well, running takes a lot of time. You have to make sacrifices. I hope to have a decent sprint training session tomorrow. Still experiencing problems with my legs, a recurring issue I’ve had for several months. There’s a sharp pain starting somewhere around my right hip that extends all the way to the top of my neck. It’s hard to bend over, and it’s rather uncomfortable overall. I don’t remember how long it lasted last time, but I’m sure I didn’t treat it with anything other than stretching. This time, I’m also using a foam roller a lot more.”
