Pretty bad night at our home—the kid (almost 3 years old) kept my wife and me awake for quite a while. It’s been really long since this happened. But I managed to wake up before 06:00 and had a decent workout:
- 1.7 km warm-up run
- 70 pull-ups (x24, x14, x10, x10, x7, x5)
- 100 dips (x33, x34, x33)
Pull-ups and dips were done in 15 minutes. I also tried squats, did 30, and it seems that my left knee is all right once again. It’s been a while since a serious leg workout. Overall, it was a good upper body workout—pull-ups and dips really give you a nice pump. Also, it is the first time (in my life or at least since 12th grade) I managed to do 24 pull-ups in one go. Wouldn’t call the completely perfect, but chin was over the bar every time.
One of the main goals of my workout is to constantly hit personal bests in various exercises. Not every day or every week, but I want to look back a couple of months and clearly see progress in at least some areas.
