Since I had two workouts yesterday and planned to have two today, I decided to spend my morning running. Pretty simple stuff:
- 5k run
- 60 push-ups
I did push-ups just to do a little something after the run. Usually, I feel rather weak after pure cardio training, so I like to get a bit of a pump afterward.
Once again, I went to the gym in the afternoon. This time, it was legs:
- Squats (8x60kg, 6x70kg, 6x80kg, 4x85kg, 2x90kg, 2x95kg)
- Leg extensions 5×6 with whatever weight I managed to do
- Some dumbbell curls in between leg extensions just for fun
So basically, squats were the main exercise—everything else was just because I was already at the gym. I spent 30 minutes in total. My legs are the weakest muscle group overall – for a long time they were neglected. I’ve been actively trying to work them out only for the last 4-5 months, so it’s basically a start. Not only I do have chicken legs, but it’s also the part that is always sore, so the priority is strengthening and stretching.
