Today is gym day, so I started the morning with recovery. Went to the river and layed down there for a bit more than 3 minutes. It’s been a couple of weeks of hot weather, so even though this river is usually cold, right now it’s just chilly. There is no problem spending 3 minutes there. However, I bet in a bit more than a month it will be a challenge to do it for more than a minute. All in all, the river still energizes me in the morning.

It was the morning routine. Now comes the gym after lunch:
- Stretching 5min
- Bench Press 60kgx8, 80kgx6, 90kgx5, 95kgx3, 100kgx2, 105kgx2
- That interesting chest exercise here 4 x 8 (25kg, 27.5kg, 27.5kg, 30kg)
For the first time, I did 105kgx2 and also increased weight with the dumbbells. Not a bad afternoon chest workout. I’m going to the countryside for the weekend, 15km kayaking tomorrow. I’ll be staying by the river, so tomorrow morning routine will be the same as today, and kayaking will be the workout. Again, in line with giving the legs some rest.
