Difficult and low energy period continues. Might be because of the weather. It’s harder to wake up quickly, harder to open my eyes clearly. Since I have no specific reason for this, the only option is to continue what I do and expect better. Maybe even increase the intensity. That’s what I did today:
- 1km run
- Stretching 5min
- 80 pull-ups (x23, x15, x10, x12, x8, x7, x5)
- Various leg raises & plank x4
So I did 80 pull-ups in 20 minutes, doing core exercises and some stretching in between. The conditions for the pull-ups weren’t perfect either – the bar was wet and slippery, so my forearms were hit disproportionately. However, it was a good workout, a lot of pump for upper body, half an hour well-spent.
Regarding my legs – don’t know what’s happening. It’s been a week and a bit since I put more pressure on leg muscles, did a lot of stretching and foam rolling and it seems as if it’s almost worse. I feel soreness every day, legs are heavy overall. Maybe there is some kind of inflammation going on. I don’t know what kind of rest is needed at this point. Probably will continue the same routine this week and then make a decision.
