For this morning, I had inspiration from a guy I found on YouTube (video link). The key to consistent training is to make it interesting. And it’s been a while since I made changes. Lucky for me, today I felt pretty good in the morning; muscles were pretty relaxed, at least relatively to usual. Here’s what I did (a circuit training):
- 1 km warm-up run
- Squat Jumps 6×15
- Crunches 6×20
- Mountain Climbers 6×20 (count on one leg)
- Flutter Kicks 6×25
- Push-ups 6×25
- Hanging leg raises 6×25
This is classic cross-fit, one that evolved in the army. It took me only 22 minutes for the whole routine. But I was really soaked. The end result is also quite impressive – 150 push-ups, 120 crunches, and 90 squat jumps. All in less than 20 minutes (22 minutes including running). Time efficient and feels good after all. You don’t really get pumped, but it’s more about endurance and overall fitness, so once in a while, it is a good challenge. It’s also easy to make it more difficult without adding much more time.
