I got a preview of what’s coming in about a month (autumn) – today our city is in minor chaos because of a rather serious thunderstorm. Tree branches, scooters, bikes, and trashcans are flying around. So in order to keep myself firm on the ground, I put on my new 15kg vest and went for the workout:
- 1.5 km run
- Pull-ups x10, x10
- Dips x20, x15
- Push-ups x20, x15
And that’s it. I ran slowly (7:47 min/km), and I tried to do everything else rather quickly because of the unpleasant weather conditions, but it probably resulted in weaker performance. Like I managed to do two sets of x10 pull-ups, and on the third one, I did one and that’s it. I have to mention that the bar was extremely wet, so I had to hold on only with my fingers. But even push-ups were really difficult. All in all, it took me a bit more than 20 min, so I won’t be able to do any significant number of reps. It’s good. And another half an hour with the vest to get used to it.
