Weighted vest challenge continues. I’m not planning to wear it every workout now, but as it is my new toy, I want to do one complete week (6 trainings in a row). I want my body to get used to the weight, especially my traps as they are hurting. Also I want that feeling of lightness when you train without weights. So a week for starters, then probably 2-3 trainings with vest. Here’s today:
– 1km run
– 37 pull-ups (x10, x10, x7)
– Tricep dips x35, x30, x30
– Plank 3×65 seconds
More pull-ups than on Monday. I managed to dry up the bar before this time. But the feeling now is completely different. When you do pull-ups without weights, you can feel your muscles working. You can notice different kind of muscle groups working. When I do with 15kg vest it’s just one continuous hard movement up. Or maybe I’m just concentrating on simply doing the rep instead of doing it correctly. All in all – 25 minutes today.
