2024/08/08 – training #54 (1/6 weekly)

It was hard to get up in the morning. I slept until around 07:00 AM a couple of days before, so waking up at 05:40 was more challenging than usual. The temptation to skip another morning workout gets stronger. You try to convince yourself that you deserve some more rest. Once I woke up, I had to spend some time in the toilet again. However, besides the risk of not making it to the toilet in time, I felt rather normal. Not full of energy (you seldom do that early in the morning), but good enough to go outside. So I went:

  • 3km run

That is it. It took me 19 min at a 6:20 min/km pace. That’s a good pace for me to keep my pulse below 140 bpm. However, the pulse was on the rise the whole time, so at 5km I would definitely be above 140 bpm. Maybe it’s understandable after the last few days I had.

I didn’t want to go near the pull-up bar at all. But if everything is alright with my health, I will have to do it tomorrow.
