The problems in our family continue. Our immune systems seem a bit off for some reason, as my wife got sick (flu-like symptoms), and I’m kind of on the brink—sore throat, slightly runny nose. Nothing serious for me, but as usual, it makes you wonder if you need to go hard on your training or not. Well, today, the situation worked itself out. I overslept by an hour and didn’t have time for a workout. Burpees would have been my punishment, but since I wasn’t feeling 100% and 82 burpees are a nightmare for your body, I decided to take it easy. I took an easier route, though it was still difficult. I did 50 slow push-ups.
Later in the day, I still felt bad and did another 40 slow push-ups, a horse stance for 2 minutes and 33 seconds, and 40 lunges. Just doing something.
What’s next if I’m not OK by tomorrow morning? If I’m not worse, then a slow jog will be fine. And some push-ups/squats. We’ll see.
