2024/08/13 – training #57 (1/6 weekly)

My health situation was pretty stable; I felt good with only minor symptoms. As planned, I went for a run:

  • 4.6 km run
  • 40 slow push-ups

My pace was 6:26 min/km, which is good for me when keeping my pulse around 140 bpm. I keep remembering how annoyingly hard it was to run 1-2 km just less than a year ago. Of course, I wasn’t exhausted after the run, but the feeling while running was simply bad. I struggled to breathe normally, and my body somewhat hurt—just unpleasant. Now it seems it’s easier to run 5 or 8 km than 1-2 km before. I credit running below 140 bpm for that. The first time I tried (last November), my pace was around 7:30 min/km. If I’m able to get it down to below 6 min/km in the upcoming year, that will be awesome.
