It’s been a while since I stuck to my regular routine. As planned, I still got up before my family, went to the river, did some push-ups, squats, and stretching. Nothing too demanding. Overall, the long weekend was pretty active, though less so in terms of strength training.
This morning, I woke up at 5:40 AM, and it was pretty dark outside. Autumn is coming. It was also rainy. I still wasn’t really in the mood for my regular circuit training routine, so I decided to run instead:
- 5km run
It took about 30 minutes, with a pace of around 6:45/km. It felt harder than last week—my legs felt heavier. I just can’t figure out what’s going on with them. Sometimes I think they’re hurting because I neglected them for most of my life, and now that I’ve started training them, they’re protesting. But it’s been almost a year now.
My left arm/shoulder is still hurting, too. It even hurts to open the car door. A lot is happening that seems to be trying to pull me away from my routine. This is probably the toughest period I’ve faced yet.
