So I’ve been sticking with my new morning routine—foam rolling, stretching, and listening to soft jazz music. The first day it felt really great; now it’s just something to do. It’s better than nothing, and still a decent way to start the day. But I’m already starting to wonder, do I actually feel better after four days?
The virus is going away—I barely feel it now. Injuries? My left shoulder still hurts. My legs feel heavy and painful, but I can’t tell if it’s getting better or staying the same. Should I rest for a full week? That’s only another three days. I doubt it will make a big difference, but it probably won’t hurt either. At least then, I’ll know if the problem lies elsewhere.
Also, I got a pretty good deal on the gym nearby—though I told you before it’s expensive and crap. Now it’s slightly less expensive, but still crap. I’ll probably take the deal since I enjoy jogging to the gym early in the morning.
Today, for a moment, I felt excited about starting to work out again.
